Abstract

As Muslims, it is necessary to practice the Al-Quran as a guide to life. The ability to read the Koran is not only for this world, but also for the future. This activity aims to teach children how to read the Al-Qur'an and provide basic provisions for children to be able to read the Al-Qur'an well and correctly in accordance with the rules of recitation science and also instill Islamic values ​​in children. -children, and are able to understand the basics of Islamic dinul. The method used in this service is a descriptive analysis method, with the location of the service determined deliberately, namely the village of Lanne, Tondong Tallasa District, Pangkep Regency. After carrying out this activity, the children have begun to be able to read and recognize the letters in the Al-Qur'an well and correctly and are more fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an. Apart from being able to improve children's ability to read and properly recognize the letters in the Al-Qur'an, other findings are also visible, namely helping parents or Koran teachers who are overwhelmed in teaching their children to read the Al-Qur'an. Tutoring to learn to read the Al-Qur'an can help solve problems experienced by children while learning to read the Al-Qur'an.
