EDUKASI PENTINGNYA LABEL INFORMASI NILAI GIZI PADA MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN KEMASAN DIKALANGAN MAHASISWA

Abstract

A nutritional problem that often arises recently, namely the high consumption of packaged food and drinks, is one of the factors in the emergence of diseases such as diabetes, obesity or other non-communicable diseases. Awareness of the importance of reading nutritional value information labels is still quite minimal, especially among students. The educational program for reading nutritional value information labels on packaged foods and drinks among students is a promotive program to reduce consumption of packaged foods and as a means of increasing knowledge and understanding regarding nutritional value labels. The implementation of this program is focused on the Halu Oleo University area targeting students from several faculties. This program is carried out using the HBM (Health Belief Model) approach with a questionnaire method that is distributed online via a Google Form link to students. The media used are posters and leaflets distributed via the Instagram application, which was chosen because this application is an application with a large number of enthusiasts and users and the information is generally accessible.
