Abstract

This character-building mentoring program was implemented at Al Madinah School, Jonggol, West Java, with the aim of helping students develop positive character values, such as responsibility, discipline, honesty, cooperation, and empathy. This activity aims to support students' learning process and equip them with the life skills needed in the future. The approach used includes initial observation, training for teachers, and the application of character-based learning methods in students' daily activities. Students are trained to understand and apply these values through discussions, group activities, and practical simulations.The results of this program showed an increase in attitudes of discipline, responsibility, and cooperation among students. Teachers also reported an increase in their awareness of the importance of character education in learning. Character building through this guidance not only has a positive impact on students at school, but also at home, creating synergy between formal education and the family environment. This program is expected to be the basis for further development in character-based education at Al Madinah School
