Abstract

This community service addresses the issue of digital civility in Indonesia, focusing on enhancing digital literacy and social media ethics among junior high school students, particularly in social media ethics at SMP Angkasa Lanud Hasanuddin. The objective is to provide understanding and digital literacy skills to students at SMP Angkasa Lanud Hasanuddin. The community service method involves training activities with a collaborative approach from Kemkominfo RI, Bosowa University, and the Maros Regency Government. Training materials cover digital media ethics, netiquette, internet ethics, and awareness of negative content. Evaluation of training results indicates an improvement in students' understanding of digital literacy, with 87.35% of participants successfully completing the training. This initiative underscores the urgency of collaboration among the government, universities, and communities to support digital literacy in Indonesia.
