Pengembangan Media “Geometri Tarik” Untuk Perkembangan Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

The importance of introducing geometric shapes to children is very important because it is closely related to children's mathematical development in everyday life. The cognitive aspect is very important to develop as early as possible. In PAUD learning, cognitive aspects are directed at several areas of development, namely: visual, auditory, tactile, kinesthetic, arithmetic, scientific and geometric development.This research aims to determine the development of tensile geometric media for the cognitive development of early childhood and to find out the results of the evaluation of the development of tensile geometric media for the cognitive development of early childhood. The benefit of this research is that with this research it is hoped that teachers will have the insight and ability to develop tensile geometry learning media for the cognitive development of early childhood. The research results show that the tensile geometry learning media has a good impact on children's cognitive development, apart from encouraging physical activity and health, building social skills, stimulating creativity, strengthening identity and togetherness, education and learning. This research was carried out at Tunas Harapan Rante Kindergarten with research using the Research and development (RnD) method. The model used was the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate.
