Mengenal dan Mendidik Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus di Sekolah Penyelenggara Pendidikan Integrasi
Abstract
Children with special needs are children of the nation who also have the same right to get a proper education. Education is the right of all nations, the same rights are also accepted by all Indonesian citizens, both young and old, physically healthy and in need also have the same right to take education according to their needs and expertise. This is clearly stated in Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. The purpose of Community Service (PKM) activities is carried out as a tridharma action for higher education to provide knowledge about increasing the ability to recognize children with special needs and to help teachers capture children's interests to maximize children's potential. The method used in this PKM activity is an online seminar using the zoom application. The results of this PKM activity are the teachers compare the differences and categorize between inclusive and integrated education services in schools, the types of children with special needs on a basic basis and the application of differentiated learning in the classroom.
